Me coming, Nature Notes!!!

perfect place for a perfect holiday! the place makes you forget your excruciating journey from Delhi to manali! the beas river just takes you over, not to mention the breathless scenic beauty of the himalyas! the hospitality of the resort managers is just awesome! I spent my days playing basketball, badminton, tried out every other adventure activity available, lazed away on the hammock just doing nothing!! but I still feel I could not get enough of the place. my best experience were my two days of trek with fellow guests, which I thoroughly enjoyed- meeting the localites, crossing the river bridge, attending the village mela, watching movie at a tiny village cinema. everything was just memorable. there was also a side-effect - I lost some weight too! ;)

I am looking forward to my next 15-day trip to Nature Notes this summer. I hope I get enough holidays from office...

My son had a wonderful holiday, ofcourse along with me and my wife and few of our other family friends, Its a great place to be with your family.

Adventure along the river

And yes, we did it - River crossing. This was fun, there were kids from Goa & a bunch of hard working boys and girls from Airtel & us - so the company was rocking and the way was full of rocks or let me be technically correct rounded rocks & pebbles. While the resort guides held the ropes tight on both sides - we could feel the force of water trying to take us for a ride :) But step by step, getting wet, enjoying the cold Beas waters, we all did it.
